Yabuli Ski Resort guide
Three mountains offer different ways to ski
Yabuli is a mountain ski area rather than a single uniform slope. Sanguokui has gentler runs useful for practice, Daguokui has alpine courses used for major competitions, and Erguokui includes steep and off-piste terrain for experienced skiers. Runs cut through forest, and the lifts make the snowy mountain setting part of the outing. Different operators manage the mountains. In the 2025–26 season, linked runs, lifts and conveyor belts supported a three-mountain ticket product; the network and rights for the next season require a new announcement.

The previous season's linked-area information described about 88.8 kilometres of runs, with individual descents up to roughly five kilometres and several difficulty levels. These figures describe that season, not a standing promise. Beginners can look for an operator with beginner terrain and a teaching area. Experienced skiers can compare the gradient, length and lifts of runs actually open on their travel day. Competition courses and off-piste routes have their own skill demands.

Match equipment and instruction to the same operating area
Equipment halls offer ski and boot rental, protective gear and ski-school services. Package contents, lesson duration and the runs included with a ticket depend on the operator. New skiers may choose an optional lesson focused on stopping, turning and using a conveyor belt or lift. Anyone comparing areas should check that their rental, lesson and lift access all apply to the same location.
Yabuli West station is not the ski slope
High-speed rail from Harbin reaches Yabuli West, followed by a ground transfer to the ski area. Train times, transfers and resort hours together determine how much skiing fits into a same-day return. A stay in the resort allows more time on the mountain, a choice of ski areas and flexibility if conditions change. Confirm the current rail and transfer schedules before booking the day's runs.
Forest views and activities beyond skiing
Some operators have offered forest rides and snow tubing in recent seasons. Their opening dates and relationship to a ski ticket vary by operator. Lifts and snowy forest views can also be part of a stay, even for visitors who spend less time skiing. Mountain weather affects both runs and lift operation, so check live conditions before choosing a slope.

Yabuli's skiing has a long training and competition background. A national winter-sports training base was established here in 1980, and the area later hosted events for the 1996 Asian Winter Games and the 2009 Winter Universiade. Resort development from the mid-1990s brought public ski tourism alongside professional courses.
