First Day in Beijing: Breakfast, Hutongs and Peking Duck
A first full day in Beijing that starts with jianbing, continues by shared bike in search of a donkey-meat sandwich, then moves past the Tiananmen Square area and into the hutongs by metro. A park boat ride and Peking duck close the day. It is less a checklist than a record of the small transport and food choices that shape a first visit.
